Questions about transport software
- What changes have occurred for owners of bank cards equipped with transport software?
These bank cards will continue to operate but the fares have changed: now each trip costs a fixed price of 28 and 26 rubles.
- Why have the discounts on chip-equipped bank cards been cancelled?
On April 2, 2013 a new range of tickets became available. When creating the new ticketing menu all types of discount tickets were reviewed including bank cards with transport software. During this review discounts were eliminated for tickets in which the fares were calculated and deducted at a later fixed period, including those on bank cards with transport software. Now the fares for these bank cards has been updated to reflect the Troika card prices: 28 rubles for the Metro and 26 rubles for TAT (trolleybus-bus-tram).
The Department of Transport will continue to offer bank card-users the same access to future transport developments such as: free transfer between monorail and Metro; the chance to add various types of new tickets; the chance to pay for parking, transfers to airports, travel on suburban commuter trains and other transport services.
